Distant from the city, in an opening from the thick forestry we find an abandoned building. It was once a church and is now completely dilapidated and all consumed by trees. It was a vision I could only compare to Angkor Watt in Cambodia.
Although entire walls were covered in the draping roots, the roof replaced with a canopy of branches which now grows endlessly towards the sky, there was something about the subtlety of this corner that caught my attention.
