I spent the last part of the week photographing Cape Town Fashion Week which was quite a spectacle as usual, even to a guy who only owns two changes of clothes. I was left with two impressions. First, there is absolutely no reason why anyone should be buying clothes from China. I don’t care how much cheaper they are, this kind of quality and style is unmatched and worth every cent. It would be an insult to be seen in anything else.

And secondly, ladies, please put on some weight! The only other time Ive photographed such malnourished people is while working in highly impoverished, disease riddled areas. Not sexy. I left the work untitled as not to include words like cancer, TB, or Biafran. But getting back to the clothes… time to find some thing in my size.
